Private School Registration

Dear Class of 2013,

It has come to my attention that a significant number of accepted ninth graders who are coming from private schools have not yet registered to attend Beach High.

I need to remind everyone that being accepted to the Scholars Academy is not the same thing as registering to attend Beach High.  You must do both to enter the program in the fall.  It is a fairly simple process, but you must get in touch with the school as soon as possible to confirm your registration.

You can call the school at 305.532.4515.  Please ask to speak with Kathy Lopez, school registrar, Rosie Jimenez, data input specialist, or Jodi Robins, assistant principal.  If you have not yet done so, please try to register by the end of the week!  We will begin contacting applicants off the wait list shortly thereafter.

That said, I hope everyone is enjoying summer vacation.  I look forward to seeing all of you at orientation August 18.
