Last Day of School Meetings

Dear Scholars,

Our final Advisory Board meeting of the year will be this Thursday, June 4, at 7:30 AM in the media center.  All are welcome.

I will be available from the end of the meeting until the end of the day for students to review their course selecetions for next year.  I am advised by my superiors to make the following two statements:

1. This is not your schedule:  What you will be reviewing is only the latest computer iteration of your course requests.  Basically, you are really only making sure that your handwritten course selection forms were input correctly into the computer.  I have already eyeballed several errors, so it is still a good idea to do this.  However, there is no guarantee that you will receive the requests that are in the computer.  Which brings me to my next disclaimer…
2. No promises: If you wish to change your requests, I will make a note and update the computer.  However, I can’t guarantee that the computer will produce a satisfactory schedule.  You will have a chance to review your schedules once the computer creates them and suggest changes before school starts.  Peer 2 Peer mentors will have priority on August 18, so consider filling out an application here: http://scholarsacademy.ning.com/group/peer2peermentors
